Do Something/Life Kits

Do Something/Life Kits are a basic hygiene kit with travel size items that are packed in a gallon size ziplock bag. They are then passed out to people who are either homeless or battling HIV and AIDS FREE of charge.

Each Do Something/Life Kit nows include a letter from me encourging each person who receives a kit to stay encouraged and to continue reaching out for assistance.

Supplies are always needed for both kits, your continued support of this effort is greatly appreciated and encouraged. My choice for supplies for Do Something and Life Kits is the 99 cent only stores in Los Angeles because everything in the store is only 99 cents or under.

Items for  Do Something and Life Kits include:

  • Shampoo and Conditioner
  • Beanie (hat)
  • Warm Gloves
  • Hand lotion

  • Condoms (for Life Kits)

Items for Do Something Kits are always needed and always appreciated. It is my belief that by providing basic things like the Do Something Kits a person is better prepared and encouraged to move forward.

The best and most cost effective way to supply items for the Do Something Kits is to form a team of friends, organize a church or office group. Set the amount of kits you would like to provide and start a drive to get the items.

You can also get your dentist involved by asking them to donate items like tooth brushes, dental floss, toothpaste, mouth wash and any  items that help with oral hygiene.

There is simply no such thing as a donation that is too small, so even if you can only make one kit or supply just a few items, it is welcome and it does help.
